Photoluminescent pigments

This pigment is a new type of long after-glow photoluminescent pigment. Free from any radioactive substance and toxicity and with strong capability of absorbing-storing-emitting light, the pigment can glow in the dark automatically for several hours after

Light storing zinc-sulphide and alkaline earth aluminates-silicates pigments are the basis of photoluminescent products. These lighting materials are called "phosphor" ("phosphorus" fluorescent material, do not mistake for chemical phosphor). Photoluminescent Pigments to be used in photoluminescent products, meeting the requirements of DIN 67 510, are toxicological harmless and free of radioactive additives.

The photoluminescent effect of the photoluminescent pigments is achieved by absorbing a light source, whereby energy is stored and re-emitted under dark conditions over an extended period of time. The photoluminescent effect with its high initial brightness drops gradually over time but remains visible to the eye adapted to the darkness.
